You win some you lose some...

Well the Cullman Cyclone Fireplug football team had a losing season to say the least. Bless their hearts they didn't win a single game except for their Jamboree game. No matter how hard they played they came up short every single time. But the ironic thing is that no matter how bad they got beat every single player came off that field with a smile on their face knowing they did the best they could do and that they had a blast doing it. As parents we want our children to succeed and know the feeling of succeeding and to be a good sportsman about it, but children have a funny way of teaching adults a life leasson in that it does not matter if you win or lose it's how you played the game and knowing that you did the best you could do. There wasn't a single game where Hayden came to me with a frown on his face saying "we lost mom", it was always "did you see me snap the ball?" or "did you see me tackle that guy?". He's winner in his own eyes and in ours for knowing he did the very best he could do. I'm so proud of you Hayden!
